Patton Day
This year, we are highlighting the professional and personal relationship between Gen. George C. Marshall and Gen. George S. Patton with a Legacy Lecture by Patton biographer J. Furman Daniel and a new display in the library featuring materials and multimedia from the Marshall Foundation archive.
Other activities and offerings will include:
- Book signing with Dr. J. Furman Daniel
- Behind-the-scenes looks into the Marshall Foundation archives
- Family activities: scavenger hunt, dress-up station, and World War II-era cartoons
- Refreshments
How can I attend?
The open house is free and all ages are welcome. However, seating for the lecture is capped at 90. If attending the lecture, please make a reservation by contacting [email protected] or call 540.463.7103, ext. 138.
