THE MISSION OF THE GEORGE C. MARSHALL FOUNDATION is to promote the values of selfless service, dedicated effort and strength of character exemplified by Marshall's life and leadership in war and peace, and to inspire new generations to follow his example as they face the challenges of the future. The Marshall Foundation executes its mission by conducting programs of contemporary service to our nation and the international community on the military, statesmanship, and citizen levels - supplemented by its research, library, and museum functions. All activities and services performed by the Marshall Foundation are conducted with five principal beliefs at their core: Candor in speech, Commitment to what is right, Courage in action, Integrity and Selflessness in service.
