This volume by Mary Sutton Skutt, the third in her series, covers Marshall's years as a statesman and eventually into retirement. This book is for middle and high school students and focuses on his achievements as Secretary of State and of the Marshall Plan, for which he won the Nobel Peace Prize. He was finally able to retire in 1954 and spent the last five years of his life at Dodona Manor with his wife Katherine.  Paperback.
