Performing with such artists as Boots Randolph, Charlie Daniels and Vince Gill, the U.S. Navy Country Current Bluegrass Quartet was formed in 1973 as a specialty unit of the Navy Band. The Navy Band is a lot more than just Anchors Aweigh, military marches and sea chanteys. Navy Band music is also acoustic bluegrass as performed by the acclaimed Country Current Bluegrass Quartet.
