Some Memories by Robert Fair is a true autobiography. It describes his youth, war years with Company D of the 399th, education, family and career. As he said in his Preface, it is the story of "a boy and a man who became a student, soldier, executive, professor, director, dean, husband, and father." A full and rich life indeed.
As the title suggests, Some Memories was written entirely from Mr. Fair's own memory, enhanced somewhat by conversations with his wife, Camilla, and brother, Jim.
