 USING YOUR WEBSITE

NAVIGATION

The site was designed for easy and intuitive navigation.  The homepage is a clearly organized outline of the main features and sections of the website.

You will find on the top right of every page direct links to an index and outline of the site.

Across the top of each page are "breadcrumbs" which will take you back step by step.  For instance at the top of this page you will see a link back to the 100th Homepage or further back to the George C. Marshall Foundation (GCMF) homepage.

Remember that with these webpages, as will all webpages, you can increase the font size by holding down CTRL and pressing the + sign.

DESIGN

As you can see on the homepage, the content is developed around four main topics:

1. The overall story of the 100th Infantry Division's participation in World War II and unit histories

2.  Individual stories in the form of personal memoirs, from single page to book length. Awards and decorations are also found in this section

3.  Visual memories in the form of photographs and maps

4.  Bibliographies
