The 100th Infantry Division
"Sons of Bitche" in World War II

The 100th Infantry Division, during its months of combat in Northeastern France and Western Germany, liberated or captured over 400 towns.  One of these towns was Bitche, and ever since that time they have been known as the "Sons of Bitche."  This is the story of their war from archives maintained at the George C. Marshall Foundation.
